As a Shows & Events Appointment Setter, you'll be the first point of contact between potential customers and our sales team. You'll attend local events, strike up conversations with attendees, and schedule free home inspections with qualified homeowners. This role is all about connecting with people, showcasing the Storm Guard brand, and identifying leads for our sales team to follow up on. It's a great fit for those with strong communication skills, a professional presence, and the drive to succeed in a performance-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and represent Storm Guard at local shows and community events
• Proactively approach and engage attendees in conversation
• Qualify homeowners and schedule appointments for our sales team
• Maintain a positive, professional, and upbeat demeanor at all times
• Work closely with the Shows & Events Manager and the wider marketing team

Qualifications

• No experience necessary, we'll train the right person!
• High-energy, outgoing personality who's comfortable speaking with strangers
• Confidence to initiate conversations and overcome light objections
• Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build rapport
• Self-motivated and reliable; able to work independently at event sites
• Weekend availability is a must; Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday

Compensation & Benefits

• Part time position 
• Competitive hourly rate at $18 to $25, with commission and bonus opportunities (the more you engage, the more you earn!)
